Men's Soccer Holds 1st Preseason Practice

DURHAM, N.C.-The Duke University men's soccer team held its first preseason training session on Wednesday morning. The Blue Devils reported to campus officially on August 17 and began training the following day.

Under the guidance of third year head coach John Kerr, the Blue Devils started the morning with a fitness session on the Wallace Wade Stadium track. After a brief break the team headed to the field and spent nearly two hours playing small-sided scrimmages.

Duke resumes practice this evening at 5:30 p.m., and will continue with two practices for the next few days. The team will take to Koskinen Stadium for a scrimmage on August 21 versus UNC Greensboro at 7 p.m.
