Duke Athletics joined a national fundraising effort titled “Save Haiti Saturday” to aid the nation's earthquake recovery efforts. Starting with last Saturday's game at Clemson, the 15 Duke teams currently in competition have displayed “Save Haiti Saturday” patches to maintain awareness for the relief effort in Haiti.
Head Coach Mike Krzyzewski earned his 850th career coaching victory. He ranks fourth all-time among Division I coaches for career victories, now 26 shy of Kentucky's Adolph Rupp.

The trio of Scheyer, Singler and Smith combined for 53 of the 70 Duke points. Entering the game the three players ranked second in the NCAA for most combined points by three players with a combined 52.9 points per game.
Duke forced 22 Seminole turnovers, the third time this season they have caused 20 or more turnovers. Florida State tallied 14 first half turnovers with seven of the caused turnovers coming off steals by Duke.

The Blue Devils were outrebounded for just the fourth time this season, improving to 2-2 when getting outrebounded.
Freshman Andre Dawkins ended a drought of six straight games played without a made three-point field goal, shooting 1-of-1 from beyond the arc. During his previous six games he was 0-of-8 from deep. Dawkins made a three-point shot in each of his first seven collegiate games and in 10 of his first 12 contests.
Senior Jon Scheyer scored 22 points to give him nine games this season with at least 20 points. He tallied his team-leading 19th game with 10 or more points and now has 95 career double figure scoring games.
Scheyer extended his streak to 13 consecutive games with a made three-point field goals and leads the team with 54 treys this season.
The four three-point field goals in the game for Scheyer give him 10 games with at least three made treys this season.
Scheyer recorded five assists to give him at least five assists in 14 games this season and 23 career games.
With three steals Scheyer moved past Mike Dunleavy into 17th on the all-time Duke steals charts with 168 in his four years. It is the third time this season and 21st time in Scheyer's career he has had three or more steals in a game.
Junior Kyle Singler extended his consecutive starts streak to 47 games and has now started in 90 career contests.
Singler hit the 20-point mark for the seventh time this season and 22nd time in his career. He reached double figures in scoring for the 17th time this season and 76th time in his career.
Singler moved past Mike Dunleavy into 32nd on Duke's career scoring list and now has 1,381 career points.
The three three-point field goals give Singler 151 in his career, as he became the 13th Duke player with at least 150 career made treys.
Singler dished out three assists and now has 10 games with at least three assists this season and 28 career games.
With two steals Singler has had at least two steals in four of the last five games and six games overall for the year.
Senior Lance Thomas pulled down six rebounds to give him seven games this season with five or more boards. In his last three games, he has grabbed 25 total rebounds with at least six in each game.
Thomas had two steals for just the second time this season he has posted at least two steals in a game. He also had two steals against No. 15 Gonzaga.
Thomas also blocked two shots to match a career high. It is the sixth time he has tallied two blocks in a game, including two this season. He also had two blocks against No. 13 Connecticut.
