Moss, Catanach Named to All-Tournament Team

MADISON, Wisc. – Duke junior Rachael Moss and sophomore Kellie Catanach were voted onto the InnTower Invitational All-Tournament Team after leading the Blue Devils to a pair of wins at the two-day tournament.

Moss, a 5-10 outside hitter, averaged 2.89 kills per set and hit .297 for the tournament. Catanach, a 6-2 setter, averaged 9.00 assists per set and led the Blue Devils to a .291 hitting percentage, which was the second highest at the tournament.

Moss and Catanach helped Duke capture second place at the InnTower Invitational, posting wins of 3-2 over Wisconsin and 3-0 over South Dakota. Duke's only loss came at the hands of Ohio, which went 3-0 to capture the tournament crown. Both Moss and Catanach were All-East Region selections in 2008 and finished first and second, respectively, in the ACC in double-doubles. The duo currently has Duke ranked second in the ACC in hitting percentage.

Up next for Duke (2-1, 0-0 ACC) is the two-day Dawgs Invitational in Athens, Ga., hosted by the University of Georgia on Sept. 4-5. Duke will open that tournament against host Georgia before taking on South Alabama and Tennessee State.
