Freshman Mason Plumlee reached double figures in scoring for the first time in his career with 18 points. The 18 points tripled his previous high for the year, six against Gardner-Webb.
Plumlee also pulled down seven rebounds, more than double his previous high of three against Gonzaga.
Plumlee had four steals after recording just one steal in his first five career games.
Senior Jon Scheyer has scored in double figures in all 12 games this season and has 88 career games with 10 or more points.
Scheyer shot 8-of-8 from the free throw line in the game to give him five games this season with five or more attempts without a miss. He is shooting .910 (61-of-67) from the foul line on the season.
Scheyer set a career high with 11 assists. He matched his previous career high of nine against Gardner-Webb in the first half. It is the 10th time in 12 games he has recorded at least five assists. He has at least seven assists in each of his last four outings.
The four turnovers for Scheyer were a season high. He had committed only 10 turnovers in his first 11 games this season.
Junior Kyle Singler extended his consecutive starts streak to 39 games and has now started in 82 career contests.
Singler tallied his fourth game with at least 20 points and 19th career game. He posted his 10th double figure scoring game of the season and 69th of his career.
Singler has grabbed at least five rebounds in 11 of the 12 contests this season.
The five assists marked the third game this year Singler has dished out five or more assists.
Junior Nolan Smith posted his team-leading fourth game with 20 or more points. He has scored at least 10 points in all 10 games he has played in this season and now has 33 career double figure scoring games.
The four three-point field goals for Smith match a career high and mark the second straight game and third this season he has made four treys.
Smith had two steals in the game to give him three games this season with at least two steals.
Senior Brian Zoubek made 4-of-5 field goals in the game and is shooting .870 (20-of-23) from the field in his last five games.
With six rebounds Zoubek has tallied at least five rebounds in 10 of the 12 games off the bench this season, leading the team with 92 overall rebounds.
