- The Blue Devils improved to 19-2 all-time in the NIT Season Tip-Off, including a 9-0 mark in first and second round games played at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
- Duke extended its NCAA-leading home win streak against non-conference opponents to 70 games. It is the second longest streak in school history (95 from Feb. 2, 1983 to Nov. 29, 1995).
- The Blue Devils held Coastal Carolina to a .286 (16-of-56) shooting percentage. It is the first time Duke has held an opponent under 30-percent from the floor since Maryland shot .281 (18-of-64) on Jan. 24, 2009.
- Duke held a 40-34 rebounding advantage and now have an 84-60 advantage in rebounds for the season.

Olek Czyz
- Sophomore Olek Czyz grabbed five rebounds to give him at least five rebounds in each of Duke's two games on the year. His 11 rebounds are one shy of his total of 12 from his freshman season.
- Freshman Andre Dawkins reached double figures in scoring for the first time in his career with 13 points Monday night. He made three three-point field goals in the game, going 3-for-11 from behind the arc.
- Dawkins also dished out three assists in the contest.
- Sophomore Miles Plumlee scored 10 points for the second straight game to give him 20 points on the year. He had 42 total points during his freshman season.
- Plumlee grabbed six rebounds and had one block to give him 15 rebounds and four blocked shots in the first two games of the year.
- Senior Jon Scheyer tallied his 78th career game with 10 or more points. He has reached double figures in scoring in both games this season.
- The 10 points moves Scheyer into 31st on Duke's career scoring list. Scheyer passed Mike Dunleavy and now has 1,377 career points.
- Seven of Scheyer's 10 points came at the free-throw line as he was a perfect 7-of-7. It is the 17th time in his career he has shot five or more free throws in a game without a miss.
- Scheyer recorded five assists with zero turnovers and in the first two games of the season now has nine assists with no turnovers. It marked the 10th time in his career he has recorded five or more assists.
- Junior Kyle Singler extended his consecutive starts streak to 29 games and has now started in 72 career contests.
- With 23 points and 11 rebounds, Singler recorded his 14th career double-double.
- Singler reached double figures in scoring for the 61st time in his career. With 23 points he notched his 17th career 20-point game. He has scored 20 or more in each of the first two games. He had 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting in the first half.
- Singler went over 1,100 career points, moving up three spots to 49th all-time at Duke with 1,103 career points.
- The 11 rebounds marks the 14th time he has pulled down at least 10 rebounds.
- With two blocks, Singler has tallied two or more blocks in 17 career games, including each of the first two contests this season.
- Senior Brian Zoubek pulled down five rebounds to give him 30 career games with at least five boards.
