? This is the 30th game in Duke history that the Blue Devils held an opponent under 50 points in an ACC contest and the 15th time under Coach K. Along with the 69-44 win over Virginia Tech earlier this year, this is the first time Duke has held multiple ACC opponents under 50 since the 1997-98 season (at N.C. State, 65-49, 2/8/98 and vs. Wake Forest, 78-47, 2/14/98).
? The 15 first half points given up by Duke is tied for the fifth lowest first half opponent point total in Duke history. It is the first time in school history the Blue Devils have allowed 15 or fewer first half points to ACC opponents twice in a season. This is just the fourth time under Coach K that an ACC opponent has been held to 15 or fewer points, two of those four occurrences have happened this season ? the other was 14 points at Florida State on Jan. 10.
? The 15 first half points is just the ninth time in Duke history the Blue Devils have given up 15 or fewer points in any half in a game. Three of those nine times have happened this season in ACC play (13 by Virginia Tech in the second half, 14 by Florida State in the first half and 15 by Maryland in the first half).
? The Blue Devils held Maryland to a .281 (18-of-64) field goal percentage which is tied for the lowest field goal pct. by a Duke opponent this season. They also held Georgia Southern to an 18-for-64 performance. It was the lowest field goal percentage for a Duke opponent in an ACC game since Virginia shot 19-of-71 (.268) in Cameron on Jan. 13, 2001.
