Duke had five players score in double figures for just the third time this season including in both games against the Wolfpack.
Sophomore Greg Paulus had 18 points and a pair of rebounds and assists in 43 minutes of action. Paulus has scored in double figures in 11 straight games and over the past four games is averaging 19.5 points while shooting 15-of-32 from behind the arc over those four games. Paulus has scored also reached double figures in 15 of the last 16 games for the Blue Devils and in 20 games this season and 31 in his career.
Junior DeMarcus Nelson scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds in 39 minutes of action. Nelson has scored in double figures in seven straight games, 13 of the last 14 and in 18 of the last 20. Overall this season, he has 28 games in double figures and 43 in his career.
Freshman Jon Scheyer scored 14 points and grabbed three rebounds in 43 minutes of action. He now has nine straight games in double figures. He was 4-of-7 from behind the arc, matching his career high and giving him his sixth game this season with four triples. He has reached double figures in scoring 23 times this season.
Sophomore Josh McRoberts scored 17 points on 8-of-13 from the field and added six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 36 minutes of action. McRoberts has scored in double figures in 23 games this season.
Sophomore Marty Pocius scored a career-high 14 points, shooting a perfect 5-of-5 from the field, including 2-of-2 from behind the arc and 2-of-2 from the free throw line. Both of Pocius' free throws were conventional three-point plays, as well. Pocius previous career-high was 10 points at UNC Greensboro on Dec. 31, 2005.
