North Carolina out-rebounded Duke 39-33 marking just the second time in ACC play and fourth time this season Duke has been on the short end of the rebounding totals.
Duke falls to 137-59 following a loss under Coach K. Of those 196 losses, Duke has stopped the slide at one game 100 times. This current streak of three games is just the 16th time a Coach K-led team has lost more than two in a row in 26 years at Duke. The last time at Duke team lost three in a row was seven years ago (the last game of 1998-99 and the first two of 1999-2000).

Freshman Jon Scheyer scored a career-high 26 points, hitting 8-of-18 from the floor and 4-of-10 from behind the arc. He also recorded one block and one steal and played in 38 minutes before fouling out late in the game.

Freshman Gerald Henderson recorded a career-high 14 points and added four rebounds and a pair of steals.
