McCabe Finishes 16th At USATF Cross Country Championships In Boulder

BOULDER, Colo. - Duke graduate student Emily McCabe placed 16th at the USATF Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Boulder, Colo. She ran a time of 30:02 for the 8,000m cross country race. The race is the U.S. national championships and qualifier for the world championships in Mombasa, Kenya, in March.

McCabe ran cross country for the Blue Devils just for the 2006 season and was named an All-America by finishing 14th at the NCAA championships in Terre Haute, Ind. on Nov. 20.

Clara Horowitz, who graduated from Duke in 2006, competed in the same race and finished 18th with a time of 30:17.
