In their second match of the day, the Blue Devils defeated Cornell, 30-24, 27-30, 30-24, 30-24 to finish the Duke Invitational undefeated. DeMange, who was named the Most Valuable Player of the Duke Invitational, missed her second career triple-double by one block, posting 19 kills, 15 digs and nine blocks versus the Big Red.
Hunkus recorded her second double-double of the tournament, posting 12 kills and a team-high 23 digs while Hausfeld added her second double-double in as many days, recording 58 assists and 10 digs.
Fisher had a career-high 15 kills against Cornell and freshman Jourdan Norman added nine kills.
“I was pleased with how we competed throughout the tournament, especially in tight situations,” stated Duke Head Coach Jolene Nagel. “I really liked how we stayed aggressive on the court. We learned a lot about our team and a lot about what we need to do to get better.”
