DURHAM, N.C. ? Sophomore Ali Hausfeld recorded her third career triple-double, leading the Duke Blue Devils to a 3-1 win over the Miami Hurricanes on Friday night in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke improves to 13-6 overall and 7-4 in the ACC while Miami falls to 10-8 and 5-5 in the conference.
Hausfeld's triple-double against Miami comes one week after the Springboro, Ohio native posted a triple-double in last Friday's win over Boston College. Hausfeld recorded a career-high 12 kills to go along with 45 assists and 12 digs in the win over the Hurricanes.

Despite a 6-0 run to start game four, the Blue Devils fell behind, 10-13, in the middle of the set before finishing the match with a 30-26 win.
“We weren't as smooth as we were last night but I thought we did a good job of making adjustments throughout the match,” stated Duke Head Coach Jolene Nagel. “I think our team took advantage of a lot of opportunities in the match. It was an all-out team effort tonight. Our serve receive was very steady and we did a pretty good job of setting up our blocks.”
Sophomore Carrie DeMange recorded her 15th double-double of the season, posting a team-high 16 kills to go along with 15 digs. Junior Tealle Hunkus notched her eighth double-double of the year with 10 kills and 13 digs. Freshman Jourdan Norman also had 10 kills, senior Sarah Salem recorded eight kills and senior Samantha Fisher added seven kills in the win.
Duke was led defensively by sophomore Jenny Shull, who had a team-high 21 digs. Shull also added a career-high eight assists for the Blue Devils. Salem notched 14 digs, DeMange had one block solo and four block assists, Norman had five block assists while Hausfeld and Hunkus added three block assists each.
“I thought we made some things happen for ourselves tonight,” Nagel said. “I would have liked to have seen us not make as many hitting errors but I felt like we hung tough and adjusted when we needed to.”
The Blue Devils will host Clemson and Georgia Tech next Thursday and Friday in Cameron Indoor Stadium, with both matches scheduled for 7 p.m. Clemson defeated Duke, 3-1, in their first match of the season on September 23.
