Sydney Ruckel joined Duke Athletic Medicine in 2025 and serves as an Athletic Training Fellow with the football program.
Originally from Mount Airy, Md., Ruckel earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of North Florida in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with minors in Sports Medicine and Deaf Studies from Salisbury University. She previously supported Michigan State University football as an athletic trainer and has completed clinical rotations with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Jacksonville University and Ponte Vedra High School.
