John Roth joined Blue Devil IMG Sports Marketing in 2009 and serves as producer of Duke football and basketball coaches television shows, host and analyst for Duke radio broadcasts, and editor of GoDuke The Magazine.

Prior to working with the Duke IMG property, Roth served as Vice President of Moore Productions for 19 years. Author of The Encyclopedia of Duke Basketball (Duke University Press, 2006), he previously worked in the Duke University sports information office from 1982-90, serving as the department’s director from 1986-90.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and resident of Durham since 1972, Roth graduated from Duke in 1980 with a degree in anthropology. He has three adult children: Justin, Kathryn and Daniel.
