Prior to Duke: Comes to Durham from Richmond, Va., where she spent the last four years at Freeman High School … Recorded 215 goals, 77 assists, 285 draw controls, 110 ground balls and 56 caused turnovers … Named Regional Player of the Year, US Lacrosse All-American and collected the Jacki Pitts award during her senior season … As a sophomore, Nease was named Richmond Player of the Year and also owns numerous All-State and All-Conference accolades … Played lacrosse on the Yellow Jackets South Lacrosse club … Outside of lacrosse, Nease was the editor of her high school yearbook, a Litworld Teen Advocates club member and a member of her high school's S.A.D.D club … Comes from a long line of student-athletes … Dad played lacrosse at Navy while her mom played soccer at Villanova … Sister, Karoline, played lacrosse at Navy, her uncle played baseball at Navy and her grandfather played football at Villanova … Several relatives who graduated from Duke.
