Prior to Duke: Comes to Durham after a successful high school campaign at Millburn under head coach Erica Thacker … During her three seasons, Bernstein amassed 251 goals, 121 assists, 181 draw controls and 152 draw controls, and holds the high school record for goals, assists and points … During her final season as a senior, Bernstein was named first team all-conference, second team all-state and was a captain during her 2021 season … Named a 2021 All-American by USA Lacrosse … In 2020, Bernstein earned All-Tournament Team honors at the Under Armour National Championship … Dad, Cliff, played lacrosse at the University of Albany … In addition to her success on the lacrosse field, she also played soccer, lettering four seasons while earning first team All-Conference honors as a senior … Outside of athletics, Bernstein was a club lacrosse coach, volunteered at FARE (food allergy research and education) and a member of CROC, a school club that raises money for kids in Costa Rica.
