Howard is a great example of improvement through hard work as she has raised her personal best by a foot and become an ECAC qualifier indoors and outdoors in the process. Howard had the eight best Duke vaults outdoors in 2002, all of which exceeded her high school personal best. She ranks third all-time Duke indoors and second all-time Duke outdoors.
