2015: Experienced action as a true freshman, taking part in the season opening race and the ACC Championship … opened the year as a part of the 3V8 against Clemson and Boston University … helped unit place third in both races, behind Clemson’s 3V8 and the Boston lightweight 2V8 with times of 7:27.77 and 7:33.15 … part of the 2V4 in the ACC Championship as it placed fourth in its preliminary heat (7:58.0) and second in the Petite Final (7:59.0).
High School: A four-year letterwinner on the school’s tennis team and earned Triangle Independent Schools Athletic Conference (TISAC) All-Conference honors in 2013 … added three varsity letters under Dennis Cullene as a member of the track and field program, winning the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA) 3A state championship in the long jump as a sophomore in 2012 with a leap of 16-7 ½ … also placed fifth in the 300-meter hurdles as a sophomore … as a senior, helped team to third-place finish in the NCISAA meet by placing third in the long jump and triple jump … earned All-TISAC honors as a senior … named the team’s most valuable player as a junior and senior … lettered as a freshman and sophomore on the basketball team … a student council member and involved with the musical theater program.
