Sophie Evans begins her second year with the Duke rowing program in 2001-2002. Evans is coaching the novice squad this year.

As a member of the McGill rowing squad in the lightweight class for two years during her collegiate year, Evans brings added experience to the Duke rowing coaching staff.

In addition to her duties with the Duke rowing team, Evans is an occupational therapist at the Duke hospital.
