2017-18: Mainstay in the V4 lineup … Started the year with nearly a 12-second victory at the Carolina Cup with a time of 7:30.9 … Helped Duke win the Carolina Cup with 99 overall points and a sweep of all five races … At the first day of competition at the Clemson Invitational, placed third in 7:16.32, trailing only No. 17 Indiana and No. 12 Wisconsin … Secured a second-place finish in 7:18.12 to kick off the final day of racing to qualify for the A Final where they finished in sixth (7:14.31) … Helped guide the team to a seventh-place finish at the highly competitive Clemson Invitational as the unranked Blue Devils bested then No. 18 Syracuse and No. 20 Oklahoma in the team standings … In double dual action against two ranked teams in Columbus, notched a first-place finish over No. 15 Michigan State (7:27.7) and came in second to No. 4 Ohio State (7:23.45) … For the first time in program history, all five boats qualified for the Grand Final at the ACC Championship where Duke finished third as a team with 72 points … Secured the top spot in the second heat of prelims (7:18.00) … Earned a spot on the podium with a second-place finish in the Grand Final in a time of 7:12.86 … Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
