Prior to Duke: Has represented Western Australia on its U15 and U13 national teams and U21 and U18 national indoor squads … Captained the U18 indoor team twice … Won a national championship as a member of Western Australia's U13 team … All-Star game selection as a senior at St. Mary's Anglican Girls' School … Received athletic colours, the highest sporting recognition, from her school each year … Member of the Honours Society and The High Flyers Club.

Personal: Born Kira-Lee Gmeiner March 23, 1999 in Narrogin, Western Australia … Daughter of Lynda and Murray Gmeiner … Has two sisters (Teagan and Melissa) who have both represented Western Australia in field hockey … Mother was a sprinter in national competitions.
