Prior to Duke: Competed in outdoor track & field at North Carolina during the 2010-11 season...placed 10th at the 2011 ACC Championships in the 10,000m, clocking a personal best time of 36:03.40...also came in 18th in the 5,000m at ACCs in 17:31.06...prior to transferring to North Carolina, was a member of Richmond's women's cross country team...completed her prep career at Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke, Va....district champion outdoors in the 3,200m and runner-up indoors in the 1,600m...also captured two district titles as a member of her team's 4x800m relay...earned all-region honors both indoors and outdoors in the 3,200m, as well as in the 1,600m indoors.

Personal: Daughter of Randy and Phyllis Norbo ... born Nov. 27, 1989 ... has two sisters (Whitney and Kate).
