DURHAM, N.C.— Following Sunday’s victory over Virginia, Duke University fifth-year senior Lexie Brown had the privilege of being interviewed by her father and former NBA slam dunk champion, Dee Brown. Don’t miss this special Blue Devil Network video with the father and daughter.
Dee Brown, who is currently the General Manager of the Agua Caliente Clippers and Director of Player Programs with the Los Angeles Clippers, saw the Blue Devils down previously unbeaten Virginia (5-0 in the ACC) with Lexie totaling 14 second half points, six steals, six rebounds and four assists.
Brown played 12 seasons in the NBA and was the 1991 NBA slam dunk champion. He led the NBA with 135 three-pointers made in 1998-99 as a member of the Toronto Raptors.
Duke will next travel to Blacksburg, Va., to take on Virginia Tech Thursday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. The contest will be aired live on ACC Network Extra.
