DURHAM, N.C. – Fans traveling to the Duke University West Campus on Friday, March 20 should be aware of the following parking alerts for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament First Round Games between Duke and Albany at 12:00 PM and Mississippi State and Tulane at 2:30 PM in Cameron Indoor Stadium and Duke Men’s Tennis vs. North Carolina State at 3:00 PM in Ambler Tennis Stadium. Please review the information below, the linked game day parking map, and provided driving directions to know which lots will be available and the best travel routes to campus. Please leave extra time in your travels to avoid delays and listen to the directions of parking staff as they direct fans to available parking areas.
NCAA WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT PARKING INFORMATION
Fan Parking for NCAA Women’s Basketball – Fan parking for NCAA Women’s Basketball First Round games will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the 751 Lot located off Science Drive, the Blue Zone B-7 and B-9 lots located on Wannamaker Drive off of Duke University Road, and in the Jogging Trail Lot located on NC 751/Cameron Blvd. The lots will be open at 7:00 AM. There is no charge to park. Parking staff will direct vehicles to the next available parking area as lots reach capacity.
Accessible Parking for Persons with Disabilities for NCAA Women’s Basketball – Accessible parking for persons with disabilities for NCAA Women’s Basketball First Round games will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Whitford Lot located on Whitford Drive and the Science Drive Visitors’ Lot located on Science Drive. These lots will be open at 7:00 AM. There is no charge to park. Shuttles for Persons with Mobility Impairments and an ADA Lift equipped van will begin operation at 10:00 AM and run until one (1) hour after the conclusion of the second game.
An accessible drop-off and pick-up point for persons with disabilities is located in front of Cameron Indoor Stadium. To access the drop-off and pick-up point, see the attendant located at the entrance to Whitford Drive. After dropping off guests, parking lot staff will direct vehicles to the closest available parking in Whitford Drive, Science Drive Visitors’ or the 751 Lot. Post-game access to the accessible drop-off and pick-up point is not permitted until post-game pedestrian and vehicle egress traffic clears Whitford Drive.
Bus Parking for NCAA Women’s Basketball – A drop-off/pick-up point for buses is available on Whitford Drive in front of Cameron Indoor Stadium. After drop-off, parking staff will direct buses to the closest available parking area. Post-game access to for pick-up is not permitted until post-game pedestrian and vehicle egress traffic clears Whitford Drive, approximately thirty (30) minutes post-game.
DUKE MEN’S TENNIS PARKING INFORMATION
Limited Parking Available Prior to 2:30 PM – Fans attending the Duke Men’s Tennis match should expect crowded parking areas due to the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament games starting at 12:00 PM. Fans attending the match are strongly encouraged to arrive on campus after 2:30 PM.
General Public Parking for Men’s Tennis – General Public parking for Duke Men’s Tennis will be located in the Blue Zone B-7 and B-9 lots on Wannamaker Drive off of Duke University Road. The Blue Zone will open for tennis match parking at 1:30 PM, but limited space will be available prior to 2:30 PM. There is no charge to park.
General Public Parking for Persons with Disabilities for Men’s Tennis – General Public parking for persons with disabilities for Duke Men’s Tennis will be located in the Card Gym Lot located off of Towerview Road. The Card Gym Lot will open for tennis match parking at 1:30 PM. An accessible drop-off/pick-up point is available for persons with disabilities in the Card Gym Lot located immediately outside Ambler Tennis Stadium. To access this lot for parking or drop-off/pick-up, please speak to the parking lot staff.
