Duke in the NFL: Thompson Scores First Career TD
DURHAM, N.C. -- Entering the fifth week of the NFL season, Duke had five former players on NFL rosters and one on injured reserve. Of the six, two had career-best performances and one made his second straight start of the season. A closer look:
Juwan Thompson – Denver Broncos
• Scored his first career touchdown with an eight-yard rush in the fourth quarter as the Broncos rolled to a 41-20 victory against Arizona
• Earned first career carry in the game with a five-yard rush in the third quarter
• Finished with a personal-best three carries for 15 yards in the contest

Cooper Helfet – Seattle Seahawks
• Made first career reception with 36-yard grab from Russell Wilson in a 27-17 win against the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football
• 36-yard catch was the longest pass play of the game and set up a touchdown that pushed the Seahawks' lead to 17-0
• Recovered an onside kick in the third quarter that allowed Seattle to take over at its 44-yard line

Vincent Rey – Cincinnati Bengals
• Started at weakside linebacker and booked a season-high seven tackles, including five solo stops, in a 43-17 loss at New England
• Has started the last two games and now owns six career starts
• Helping the defense hold opponents to 19.00 points per game, the sixth-best mark in the NFL
