Freshman Focus: Tyus Jones
DURHAM, N.C. -- The nation’s No. 1 recruiting class, comprised of McDonald’s All-Americans Grayson Allen, Tyus Jones, Jahlil Okafor and Justise Winslow, will take the court this season as members of the Duke men’s basketball team. To help our great fans learn more about this year’s freshman class, GoDuke.com and the Blue Devil Network sat down with each rookie as part of a four-part, Duke Men’s Basketball Freshman Focus series that will run weekly.
This week’s freshman focus highlights Apple Valley, Minn., native, Tyus Jones, as he discusses goals for the upcoming season, as well as his style of play at the point guard position. Freshmen teammates Grayson Allen and Jahlil Okafor join Jones, providing a scouting report and breaking down the guard’s play.
