DURHAM, N.C. - GoDuke.com sat down with freshman wide receiver Tyree Watkins on Tuesday to discuss what his favorite number is and how he is focused on school in his free time.

GoDuke.com: Why Did You Choose Duke?
Tyree Watkins: I just fell in love with the facilities and I knew it was a great place academically.
GD: Any Brothers or Sisters?
TW: I have two younger sisters, one is 16 and one is 11.
GD: What number did you wear in high school?
TW: No. 3 ... That is my favorite number. I wore No. 81 as a freshman in high school so it is bringing back old memories.
GD: What sport would you play besides football?
TW: Basketball, I was a guard in high school.
GD: What was your favorite NFL team and player growing up?
TW: Growing up I liked the Dallas Cowboys. I always loved to watch old clips of Walter Payton.
GD: What websites do you visit most?
TW: www.duke.edu.
GD: What do you like to do outside of football?
TW: Outside of football I am reading a lot and staying on top of my schoolwork. I also like playing video games and watching t.v.
GD: Who is your roommate this year?
TW: Desmond Scott.
GD: After football what job would you like to have?
TW: I am interested in coaching starting with the high school level and working my way up.
GD: Any interesting hobbies?
TW: I have this trick where I can pull my ear back.
