DURHAM, N.C. - Duke's football game with Navy set for Saturday, November 4 in Wallace Wade Stadium will kick off at 1 p.m. The Duke-Navy contest falls on the annual Youth Day with former NFL standout Darrell Green serving as the featured speaker this year.
Tickets for the Youth Day festivities are $10 and can be puchased through the Duke Athletic Ticket Office (1-877-375-DUKE) or online at www.GoDuke.com. Gates to Wallace Wade Stadium open at 10 a.m., with the Youth Day event beginning at 11 a.m.
A native of Houston, Texas, Green was a seven-time All-Pro selection at defensive back during his 20-year NFL career (1983-2002) with the Washington Redskins. He earned the title of NFL's Fastest Man four times and was a member of two Super Bowl championship teams. In his 20 seasons, Green recorded 54 interceptions and 10 fumble recoveries. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004 and in 1999 was ranked 81st on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest Football Players.
