2022-23 (Redshirt-Junior): Started at 133 pound in seven duals and competed in two tournaments in his final season with the Blue Devils … posted a 6-9 overall record … went 3-2 at the Battle at The Citadel, placing third overall in the 133-pound bracket … faced off against teammate Christian Colman after dropping tough semifinal matches and escaped with the 2-0 decision to claim a spot on the podium … earned his lone dual win after defeating Jacob Brasseur of Presbyterian by a 9-3 decision.

2021-22: Starter at 133 pounds ... Finished the year with a 4-23 overall record ... Earned a win over Belmont Abbey's Tobias Finn at the Battle at the Citadel ... Won his first collegiate dual match in a 9-2 decision over Bellarmine's Max Dansereau ... Added a dual match win over Hofstra's Ty Cymmerman.

2020-21: Starter for three of five dual matches at 133 pounds ... Compiled an overall record of 1-7 ... Went 0-3 in the ACC ... Opened his season with a dual extra match victory over North Carolina's Timothy Decatur.

2019-20: Redshirt season … Wrestled at 125 and 133 pounds … Posted a 4-6 overall record in three tournament outings… Registered one pin at the Battle at the Citadel … Compiled a 2-1 record at the Mountaineer Invitational … ACC Academic Honor Roll

Before Duke: A four-year letterwinner at Webster City High School … Three-time All-State Academic First Team honoree and Male Athlete of the Year (senior year) … Was the 2A State Champion his senior year at 120 pounds … Also took home a third-place finish (freshman year), a runner-up finish (sophomore year), and a fifth-place finish (junior year) at the state championships … Compiled 557 takedowns during his four-year career with 114 pins at 113- and 120-pounds … Also competed in football and soccer during his high school career, garnering all-district recognition in football his junior and senior season … Posted a 4.0 cumulative grade point average throughout school and was the National Honors Society president.
