2020-21 T&F: Made his season debut with a 25th place showing in the 400m, turning in a PR time of 49.50 at the Raleigh Relays (3/27) ... Had a historic day at the Virginia Invitational (4/3), running a PR time of 52.22 in the 400m hurdles to finish second overall and third in Duke history, while earning a victory as part of the 4x400m relay team that ran a time of 3:13.22 ... Turned in a third place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 57.52 at the Tobacco Road Challenge (4/10) ... Finished fourth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 52.53, while finishing fifth as part of a 4x400m relay team that ran a time of 3:16.94 at the Virginia Challenge (4/17) ... Took home second place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 53.59 seconds at the Charlotte Invitational (4/23) ... Set a new personal best and improved on his third fastest time in program history in the 400m hurdles, taking second place with a run of 51.83 seconds at Duke Twilight (5/3) ... Became an ACC medalist for the first time, setting the second fastest run in program history in the 400m hurdles with a third place finish and run of 51.14 seconds, while taking sixth as part of the 4x400m relay team that ran a time of 3:10.47 at the ACC Outdoor Championships (5/13 - 5/15) ... Took home 16th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 51.29 seconds, while finishing 17th as part of the 4x400m relay team with the third best time in program history at 3:10.34 at the NCAA East Regional (5/26 - 5/28).

2019-20 T&F: Participated in five events as a graduate-transfer from William & Mary ... opened the indoor season with a third-place finish in the 60m hurdles at the Dick Taylor Carolina Challenge (1/11), clocking a time of 8.33 seconds ... helped the men's 4x400m relay squad finish fourth at the "Doc" Hale Virginia Tech Invitational (2/8) ... took 10th in the 400m at Virginia Tech (2/7) with a time of 50.02 ... contributed to the men's DMR team placing first at the Tiger Paw Invitational (2/14), where he ran a 400m second leg in 49.3 seconds ... raced for both relay squads at the ACC Indoor Championships, helping the 4x400m team to a ninth-place finish and the DMR quartet to fourth place with a time of 9:49.63, earning him All-ACC Second Team status ... did not compete in any outdoor events due to the season being cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.

2017-18 T&F (at William & Mary): Redshirted the 2018 indoor season ... finished third overall in the 400m hurdles at the IC4A Division I Outdoor Championships, clocking a time of 53.18 to earn All-East honors ... ran a 53.46 mark in the 400m hurdles to finish fourth at the Colonial Athletic Association Outdoor Championships ... All-CAA in both the 4x400m and 4x100m relays, finishing second and third, respectively ... ran in every 4x400m race of the season, including finishing eighth at the IC4A Championships for All-East honors.

2016-17 T&F (at William & Mary): Earned All-East honors at the IC4A Indoor Championships, helping the Tribe's 4x400m team post two school-record times ... led off the 4x400m relay team that won W&M's first-ever outdoor relay at the CAA Championships ... took third in the 400m hurdles at the CAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 53.76.

2015-16 T&F (at Virginia Tech): Ran in three indoor meets for the Hokies ... Season-bests of 23.11 in the 200m and 51.11 in the 400m came at home in February.

Personal: Son of Kenneth and Bridget Atkinson ... father ran track at BYU ... mother played basketball and softball at Hope College ... sister, Breanna, played volleyball at Duke.
