DURHAM, N.C. – Four members of the Duke men's lacrosse team were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District At-Large teams as selected by College Sports Communicators.
Charlie Johnson, Benn Johnston, Aidan Maguire and
Nikolas Menendez were all recognized for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom.
Johnson, Johnston and Maguire are finalists and advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 8.
Johnson and Johnston garner Academic All-District nods for the second consecutive year, while Maguire and Menendez garner recognition for the first time.
The four selections are the most by the Blue Devils in program history and mark the fourth straight season Duke men's lacrosse has been represented on the at-large squad. The men's lacrosse program has earned 10 Academic All-America awards across seven different players.
Andrew McAdorey is the most recent honoree, garnering accolades in both 2024 and 2025.
The Blue Devils finished the year with an 11-5 overall record and advanced to the NCAA Semifinals for the 15th time. Duke ended the year ranked fourth in all the polls following its postseason run.
