DURHAM, N.C. — The United States Women's National Team (USWNT) announced its squad for the upcoming FIFA international window in June with former Duke women's soccer Hermann Award winner Michelle Cooper as one of 26 players selected.
The USWNT and Brazil will first square off Saturday, June 6, at 5:30 p.m. (ET) at Neo Química Arena in São Paulo and the match will be broadcast on TBS, Max, Telemundo, Universo and Peacock. The second contest will be Tuesday, June 9, at Arena Castelão in Fortaleza with kickoff set for 8:30 p.m. (ET) on TNT, Max and Peacock. Both matches will be available via radio broadcast on Westwood One.
Cooper, an All-America selection at Duke in 2021 and 2022, returned to the international scene in April for the first time in nearly six months after recovering from a foot injury. Her last call-up prior to April was in October 2025, when she started two matches and dished out an assist against New Zealand at CPKC Stadium. She made her USWNT debut during the 2025 SheBelieves Cup with her first national team goal proving to be the game-winner against Australia during the tournament. She then recorded her first assist in a victory over China PR a few months later.
Former Duke standout Kayla McCoy McKenna has also received the call from Jamaica to compete in a pair of international friendlies against Panama June 5 and June 8 in Panama. McKenna competed for the Blue Devils from 2015-18 and helped lead Duke to the NCAA College Cup in 2015 and 2017.
