DURHAM, N.C. – The Blue Devils' Varsity Four earned ACC Crew of the Week honors following a strong weekend of racing at the Rocky Top Invitational in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.

Addison Roles highlighted the opening day of the invitational with a first-place finish over No. 14 Penn, UCLA and Clemson. The group crossed the finish line in 7:16.593, over eight seconds ahead of Penn in second, to advance to the second heat of the semifinals.
In their semifinal race, the Blue Devils jumped out to an early lead and held steady over the final 500 meters to record the winning-time of 7:17.996 and secure their spot in the finals.
The Varsity Four capped the final day with a second-place finish in the finals, trailing only No. 5 Tennessee and clocking a time of 7:22.491.
Duke is back on the water April 17-18 for two days of racing in the inaugural Orlando Invite, hosted by No. 12 UCF, the first multi-team regatta on Lake Pickett. The Blue Devils are set to go up against No. 13 Alabama, No. 15 Miami, No. 18 Penn, Clemson and SMU.
