DURHAM, N.C. – No. 14 Duke rowing travels to Orlando, Florida this weekend for two days of racing at the inaugural Orlando Invite, hosted by No. 11 UCF, on Lake Pickett.
The Blue Devils are set to go up against No. 13 Alabama, No. 15 Miami, No. 19 Penn, No. 24 Oklahoma, Clemson and SMU.
Friday's racing will consist of 10 heats that will lead to Saturday's finals. The top seed, based on rankings, will race in heat one, seed one and the remaining ranked crews will follow. Both Friday and Saturday's racing will commence at 7:40 a.m.
Duke is coming off a strong showing at the Rocky Top Invitational April 4-5. The Blue Devils stayed competitive in their seminfinal races, advancing four of five boats to the top heat of the final round. In the finals, the Varsity Four claimed second, the Varsity Eight placed third and the Second Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Four finished fifth to round out Duke's placements.

Addison Roles, was named the ACC Crew of the week following their performances in Tennessee. The recognition was Duke's second weekly ACC honor of the season as the Varsity Eight was tabbed crew of the week on March 17.

The Blue Devils return home to co-host the annual Lake Wheeler Invitational with North Carolina April 24-25. Duke and UNC are set to welcome 20 teams to Lake Wheeler for two days of racing in Raleigh, N.C.
