DURHAM, N.C. – Duke swimming and diving resumes postseason competition this weekend as the team prepares to compete at the NCAA Diving Zones in Athens, Georgia.
The Blue Devils will be represented by seven student-athletes at the meet who are vying for a spot at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships later this month.
DUKE NOTABLES:
- The Blue Devils will be represented by seven divers – Charles Berman, Evan Brown, Avery Hillier, Keira Lu, Yannis Schattman, Avari Wang and Josie Zillig.
- At the ACC Championships, Zillig headlined the Duke diving performances with a fourth-place finish in the women's platform dive (252.65).
- This season, Berman and Lu both produced dives that landed them on the all-time Duke top-10 lists.
- Lu, a 16-time podium finisher and five-time ACC Women's Diver of the Week honoree this season, moved up to No. 4 in the women's 3-meter dive (362.55) and No. 5 in the women's 1-meter (323.73). Berman slotted himself eighth all-time in the men's 1-meter event (348.68).
- Berman (11), Schattman (5) and Hillier (4) combined for 20 podium finishes this season across the both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.
