Kara Lawson was named the 2026 ACC Women's Basketball Coach of the Year to headline the Blue Devils' All-ACC selections as announced by the conference office Tuesday evening.

Toby Fournier was a consensus All-ACC first team pick for the second consecutive season, while senior
Taina Mair made her All-ACC debut with first-team honors by the Blue Ribbon Panel and second-team recognition in a vote of the league's coaches. Senior
Ashlon Jackson was voted to the first team by the coaches and to the second team by the Blue Ribbon Panel. Both Fournier and Mair were tabbed to the All-Defensive Team by both voting groups. Freshman
Arianna Roberson rounded out Duke's selections with All-Freshman Team honors for both lists.
The three selections to the first or second team are tied for the most this year and are the most during Lawson's tenure. Duke has not had three different players earn All-ACC awards since the 2012-13 season. It is the third straight season Duke has had at least one all-freshman selection.
In her sixth season at the helm, Lawson led Duke to its first ACC regular season crown in 13 years with a 16-2 record. The 16 league wins are the most in her tenure and rank second in program history. Following a 3-6 start to the year, Lawson and the Blue Devils went on a 17-game winning streak, which included three wins over AP top 25 teams. It was the fourth longest active streak among Division I programs and spanned Dec. 5-Feb. 21. The Blue Devils also had won 22 straight against ACC opponents. Sporting a 118-49 overall record, Lawson became the second fastest ACC women's basketball coach to 100 career wins earlier this season, reaching the benchmark in 143 games.
Fournier leads the Blue Devils on both ends of the court, averaging 17.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. She has scored in double figures in 27 of her 29 games this season and owns eight double-doubles. In conference play, Fournier averaged 18.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game
. A force inside the paint, Fournier increased her blocks total this season by 69 percent with 66 denials in her 29 outings. She ranks second in the ACC and 11th nationally in blocks per game.
Duke's point guard and leader in minutes, Mair, saved her best season for last. The Boston, Massachusetts, native is averaging 11.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. She also leads the team with 70 steals. With 161 assists to her name this season, Mair is fourth in Duke single-season history and just seven away from tying for third. Mair's 418 assists in three years as a Blue Devil put her 10th on the Duke career chart, while her 635 total are ninth in ACC history.
Jackson, Duke's lone four-year player on this year's team, garners her second career All-ACC award after earning a second-team nod last year. Duke's top three-point shooter, Jackson is averaging 11.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and a career-high 4.4 assists per game. She has 65 three-pointers this season, leaving her five away from becoming the fourth player in program history to have at least 70 in two different seasons. Her 227 makes from distance are third all-time.
Duke's top performer off the bench, Roberson contributes 8.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game for the Blue Devils. She has registered double figures in nine games and owns three double-doubles, including her first 20-point showing in a comeback win at California. She has led the Blue Devils in rebounding in seven games and ranks second on the team in blocks with 30.
The Blue Devils open ACC Tournament action Friday, March 6 at 11 a.m. on ESPN2. Duke will play the winner between No. 8 seed Virginia and No. 9 seed Clemson.
