CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The conference announced the results of the coaches' voting for preseason ACC women's lacrosse honors, with Duke attacker Bella Goodwin earning a spot on the At-Large Team. Along with the individual accolade, Duke was picked to finish sixth in the ACC preseason standings with 107 points.
Goodwin, a junior from Basking Ridge, New Jersey, is coming off a breakout campaign in 2025. She finished second on the team in goals (53), third in assists (18) and third in points (71), while leading Duke in free-position goals (19) and ranking second on the team with three game-winning goals. Goodwin is featured multiple times in the Duke record book, ranking 42nd in career points (89), 41st in career goals (64) and tied for 40th in career assists (25).
The Blue Devils are coming off a successful 2025 campaign, finishing fourth in the ACC standings with a 14-6 overall record, including a 6-3 mark in conference play. Duke advanced to the NCAA Championship quarterfinals and closed the season ranked No. 9 in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll.
Duke opens its 2026 campaign on the road at High Point Feb. 6 at 4 p.m., inside Vert Stadium. The game will stream on ESPN+.
