Walters Tabbed WPSL National Player of the Week

DURHAM, N.C. — Duke women's soccer senior Farrah Walters turned in a very impressive week in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and was tabbed the WPSL National Player of the Week.
Walters, who hails from Scottsdale, Ariz., led SC del Sol to a pair of victories, while scoring six goals and adding four assists. Overall, Walters contributed to 10 of the 13 total goals del Sol scored on the week.
In the first match after recording two assists in the first half, Walters registered a second-half hat trick to propel del Sol to improve its winning streak to three contests. In the second match, Walters recorded another hat trick and two assists in del Sol's biggest win of the season.
In the 2024 collegiate season for the Blue Devils, Walters started in 15 of the 18 matches played, scoring three goals and three assists. The junior helped Duke to its fourth ACC regular season title and a berth in the NCAA College Cup.
