DURHAM, N.C. – NCAA Division I PING All-Region honors have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Three members of the Duke men's golf team –
Kelly Chinn,
Ethan Evans and
Bryan Kim – are among the individuals who earned East All-Region recognitions.
With their selections, Evans earn his second consecutive PING All-Region honor, while Chinn and Kim pick up the first of their respective careers. The three Blue Devils join their teammates
Luke Sample (2023, 2024) and
William Love (2023, 2024) as Blue Devils that have been recognized as PING All-Region players. With the three honorees, Duke has had at least two All-Region selection in eight of the last 10 seasons.
Kim is coming off an appearance at the 2025 NCAA Championships, representing Duke as an individual. The sophomore finished as the low individual on a non-advancing team at the 2025 Reno Regional to qualify for the NCAA Championship, where he finished his three rounds of stroke play at 6-over, 222. Kim and Evans will both be participating in U.S. Open Final Qualifying on Monday, June 2, held at Duke's home course, the Duke University Golf Club.Â

Bryan Kim has also advanced to final qualifying after an even-par, 70, in local qualifying. Kim, a native of Brookeville, Md., is ninth in the latest Rolex AJGA rankings and is playing his final qualifier at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md. All three are scheduled to play on Monday, June 5.
