Varsity Four Tabbed ACC Crew of the Week

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke's Varsity Four was named the ACC Crew of the Week following a pair of strong performances at the inaugural Rocky Top Invitational in Oak Ridge, Tenn., the conference office announced Tuesday.
The Varsity Four crew of coxswain Lucy Herrick, Grace Matos, Vivienne Foley, Sophia Greco and Chelsea Proutt powered past crews from No. 17 UCF and Clemson to clock the winning time of 7:30.333 and secure their spot in the A Finals.
In the A Finals race on Saturday,the V4 stayed competitive with host Tennessee. The Blue Devils crossed the finish line just three seconds behind the fifth-ranked Volunteers to record a second-place time of 7:28.994.
Duke is back on the water April 18-19 for two days of racing in the Big Ten Invitational, hosted by No. 13 Michigan, at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla.
