BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Duke men's golf team travels to the Bluegrass State for the 71st edition of the ACC Men's Golf Championship, hosted at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Ky., from Thursday, April 24 to Monday, April 28. The event boasts 15 teams for the first time in Championship history and begins with three rounds of stroke play across the first three days, with the top eight teams advancing to the match play portion of the event. No. 19 Duke is one of five ACC squads in the top 25 of the latest Scoreboard rankings (April 22), joined by No. 9 Florida State, No. 10 North Carolina, No. 11 Virginia, No. 24 Louisville and No. 25 Georgia Tech.
The Club at Olde Stone was ranked the No. 2 golf course in Kentucky by Golf Digest in 2023 and No. 3 private course in the state by Golfweek in 2022. Designed by Arthur Hills and opened in 2006, the course will play to a par of 72 and a distance of 7,331 yards for the ACC Championship.
Following the first three days of stroke play, the quarterfinals begin the morning of Sunday, April 27 and will be followed in the afternoon with the semifinals. The match-play final is set for April 28, with both semifinal matches and the championship match broadcast live on ACC Network Extra. This year's Championship features eight teams in the quarterfinals for the first time, following the addition of California, SMU and Stanford to the conference. In the past, just four teams advanced to the match-play round. All three stroke play rounds are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., ET, while the quarterfinals start at 8:30 a.m., ET on April 27, with the semifinals following at approximately 2:30 p.m., ET.
