Men Finish Opening Day at NCAA Championships

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Duke fencing team completed the first day of the 2025 NCAA Championships at Penn State with freshman Joseph Glasson and sophomore Dayaal Singh representing the squad in foil. The Blue Devils sit in 14th place overall after totaling 13 points with Singh in 15th and Glasson in 20th.
Entering Friday's final two rounds of pool play, Singh posted a record of 7-8 with Glasson going 6-9.

UP NEXT
The men will return to the strips for the final two rounds of the round-robin play Friday morning. After the two rounds are completed, the top-four finishers will advance to the semifinals starting at 1:30 p.m. ET in the afternoon. The semifinal and finals will be streamed live on ESPN+. The women's qualifiers will compete Saturday at 9 a.m. and wrap up Sunday with the semifinal and championship bouts starting at 1:30 p.m. Sophomore Charlotte Koenig and junior Rachel Koo will start at 11 a.m. with foil on Saturday.
