LONGWOOD, Fla. ā For the second straight week, a Duke women's golfer hoisted a trophy on the Epson Tour as
Gina Kim won the IOA Golf Classic presented by Aperture Sunday, which was played at the Alaqua Country Club in Longwood.Ā

"It feels great," said Kim.Ā "Obviously, it's been three years so it's been a hot-minute since its happened," said Kim. "With the experience of already winning once, I think I took it pretty well. I feel like coming down the stretch with all the pressure, having all that experience really helped down the stretch. I am really happy with how I handled myself over the last few holes."

Kim, a product of Durham, N.C., posted rounds of 65, 69 and 68 for an 11-under, 202, to win by one stroke ahead of Minji Knag (203).Ā Tied for the lead heading into the final round, Kim suffered a bogey on No. 2, but came back with back-to-back birdies on No. 3 and No. 4.Ā After eight consecutive pars, Kim moved to 10-under with a birdie on No. 13.Ā After a bogey on the 15th, Kim totaled back-to-back birdies for the second time today to move into the lead for good at 11-under with two holes remaining.Ā

Her first professional win came on May 27, 2022 at the Inova Mission Inn Resort & Club Championship with also an 11-under-par ledger.Ā

Duke also featured fellow alumnae
Laetitia Beck in the top 10 as she placed tied for eighth with a 5-under, 208, and
Anne Chen tied for 12th with a 4-under, 209.Ā

Kim's win marks the 23rd all-time by Duke golfers on the Epson Tour and the second in a row out of three tournaments in 2025.Ā

The Epson Tour will return to action April 25-27 at the IOA Championship presented by Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Beaumont, Calif.
