Brooks Announces 2026-27 Women’s Golf Schedule

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women's golf head coach Dan Brooks, a seven-time NCAA Champion, announced the Blue Devils' 2026-27 schedule Wednesday ahead of his 43rd season at the helm in Durham.
Brooks guided Duke into the quarterfinals of match play at the NCAA Championship this past season and returns four of its five starters from a season ago, while welcoming in a standout recruiting class to the mix.
The Blue Devils will open the regular season Sept. 7-9 in Grand Haven, Michigan, at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, which will be contested at American Dunes Golf Club. It will mark the first time Duke has competed in the season-opening event.
Duke returns to the Windy City Collegiate Classic, where the Blue Devils claimed the 2025 team title. The event will take place Oct. 5-6 at the Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, Illinois.
The Blue Devils once again are set to compete in the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational Oct. 16-18 at Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill. Duke has claimed the Tar Heel Invitational title 17 times in program history.
To close the fall, Duke remains in the state of North Carolina traveling to Wilmington for the Landfall Tradition Oct. 23-25 at the Country Club of Landfall. It marks the 13th time the Blue Devils have participated in the tournament and won the team title on four occasions.
For the second year in a row, the Blue Devils open the spring season at the Sea Best Intercollegiate in Jacksonville, Florida. The event is slated for Jan. 25-26 at San Jose Country Club. Duke is coming off shooting 27-under-par, 837, last year as rookie Rianne Malixi posted a 16-under-par, 200, to claim individual medalist honors.
Duke features only one tournament in February, which is back in the state of Florida. The Blue Devils head to Melbourne, Florida, for the Moon Golf Invitational Feb. 14-16.
In March, Duke competes in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate March 1-3 at Long Cove Club and the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate March 22-23 at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, to conclude regular season play.
The ACC Championship will take place April 15-18 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro.
NCAA Regional action is scheduled for May 10-12 and hosted by South Carolina, SMU, Purdue, Vanderbilt, Florida Atlantic and Stanford. The NCAA Championship will once again be hosted at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa Champions Course May 21-26 in Carlsbad, California.
Duke returns an impressive group of golfers for the 2026-27 campaign, including two-time All-ACC selection senior Katie Li, reigning Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) National Freshman of the Year Malixi, junior Anna Cañado Espinal, junior Carla De Troia, sophomore Avery McCrery and junior Martina Yu.
The Blue Devils welcome a pair of incoming freshmen – Mia Hammond and Martina Navarro Navarro. Hammond is coming off becoming the second amateur to win an Epson Tour event this past spring.
