Avery McCrery recently competed in two tournaments, with Li advancing to match play in both events. A full recap of the tournaments is below.
Li Advances to Quarterfinals at New Jersey Women's Amateur

Katie Li advanced to the quarterfinals of match play at the New Jersey Golf Association's 101st Women's Amateur Championship, which was contested at Essex Fells Country Club.
Li, the 2025 New Jersey Women's Amateur champion, shot a 1-over, 74, in stroke-play qualifying and then notched a 3-and-2 victory over Olivia Gaglione in the round of 16 of match play. A product of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Li trailed early on the front nine, but won holes Nos. 8-12 to take a commanding lead and eventually closed the match on No. 16.
In the quarterfinal match, Li faced top-seeded Grace Lu. Lu won the second hole to go 1 up, but Li birdied the third hole to tie the match. Lu went on to win the eighth and ninth holes to go 2 up. Li got one back with a birdie on No. 12, but Lu won Nos. 14 and 15 to go 3 up with three holes remaining.
Li was not finished, winning the 16th and 17th holes, but both golfers made par on No. 18, and Lu secured a 1-up victory.
Li, McCrery Compete in Women's Western Amateur

Avery McCrery saw action in the Women's Western Amateur in Elmhurst, Illinois, July 6-11.
In stroke-play qualifying, Li collected rounds of 73 and 69 for a 2-under, 142, to place tied for 12th and move on to match play. McCrery missed match play with scores of 73 and 75 for a 4-over, 148.
Li went up against Alli Wiertel in the round of 32 of match play. With a slow start, Li found herself 3 down through four holes, but tried to mount a comeback by winning Nos. 5-6. Wiertel then won the next three holes to take a 4-up lead heading to the back nine. Li won Nos. 10, 12 and 13, but couldn't complete the comeback, falling 4 and 2.
Hammond Returns to Defend Epson Tour Title

Mia Hammond opens play Friday, July 17, on the Epson Tour at the Greater Toledo Classic, which will be held July 17-19 in Sylvania, Ohio. Hammond is the reigning champion after totaling rounds of 66, 66 and 69 over three days to finish at 12-under par. She became just the eighth amateur to win on the Epson Tour.
