DURHAM, N.C. – ESPN announced eight Duke lacrosse games between the men and women will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks this spring. Four men's and four women's contests will air on either ACC Network or ESPNU during the 2025 campaign.
The men's broadcast slate features more than 260 games across linear and digital, with ESPNU and ACC Network bringing 28 regular season games.
All nine of the Duke men's lacrosse home games will be shown on either ACC Network or ACCNX. All are available in the ESPN app with a subscription to a cable provider or accepted streaming service. Duke will make its linear television debut against Princeton, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. Head coach
John Danowski's team will be featured March 29 at Notre Dame (ESPNU), April 12 versus North Carolina (ACCN), April 19 against Syracuse (ACCN) and at Virginia (ACCN) on April 26.
The roster of men's lacrosse analysts includes:
- Paul Carcaterra – All-American and national champion with Syracuse; played professionally with Major League Lacrosse's New Jersey Pride and participated in the World Lacrosse Games.
- Jules Heningburg – Two-time First Team All-Big Ten selection and two-time All-American at Rutgers; three-time Premier Lacrosse League All-Star and current member of the California Redwoods.
- Quint Kessenich – Two-time winner of the Ensign C. Markland Kelly, Jr. Award as the nation's best goalie while playing at Johns Hopkins; played professionally with the Baltimore Thunder.
- Charlotte North – Two-time Tewaaraton Trophy winner (2021 and 2022); two-time All-American at Boston College; NCAA career goals leader (358); 2021 NCAA Champion; 2022 World Champion with Team USA.
- Matt Ward – Three-time All-American (2004, 2005, 2006) and winner of the Tewaaraton Award as most outstanding player in 2006 after leading Virginia to the NCAA Championship.
On the women's side, more than 550 total games will be broadcast on ESPN's family of networks with the majority on ESPN+, slightly more than the overall slate broadcasted on ESPN in 2024. There will be 26 games on linear networks including ESPNU and the ACC Network.
The Blue Devil women will make their ACCN debut March 2 when they welcome Xavier to Koskinen Stadium. Duke also will host Virginia Tech March 29 on ACC Network. The Blue Devils' contest at Louisville April 12 will be carried by ACC Network, while the rivalry match against North Carolina airs on ESPNU April 17. Duke's remaining home games will be shown on ACCNX.
Women's game analysts include:
- Dana Boyle – Member of Virginia women's lacrosse team from 2011-14, making a 2014 Final Four appearance; named to All-ACC Team (2013).
- Rachael DeCecco – Three-time First-Team All-American defender at Princeton (2001, 2002, 2003); winner of the Tewaaraton Trophy in 2003 and an NCAA Champion in 2002 and 2003; Inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2019.
- Courtney Martinez Connor – Five-time NCAA Champion and All-American at Maryland; NCAA Championship Most Outstanding Player; former Division I head coach (Arizona State, UMBC and Mount St. Mary's).
- Charlotte North – Two-time Tewaaraton Trophy winner (2021 and 2022); two-time All-American at Boston College; NCAA career goals leader (358); 2021 NCAA Champion; 2022 World Champion with Team USA.
- Sheehan Stanwick Burch – Four-time All-American at Georgetown, where she holds the program records in goals scored (232) and total points (330); inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2021.
All ACC Championship games for both the men and women will be broadcast on ACCN.
