Rylee McLanahan have received invites for the United States Under-20 Women's National Team training camp, which will take place Nov. 24 through Dec. 3 in Spain.
While in Spain, the U.S. U-20 squad will face the England U-20 Women's National Team Saturday, Nov. 29, before taking on the China PR U-20 Women's National Team Tuesday, Dec. 2. Both friendlies will be played at Pinatar Arena in San Pedro del Pinatar, Spain.
A member of Duke's 2024 NCAA College Cup squad, Long has been a regular on the U-20 circuit since the beginning of this year. She recently finished her first professional season with the Kansas City Current and was a vital component of the USA's bronze-medal performance at the 2024 FIFA U-17 World Cup where she played in all six matches and earned a start in five.
Long scored against South Korea in addition to adding an assist and drawing a penalty against Colombia during the group stage. She scored twice in a friendly against Brazil during her first national team call-up for a training camp in preparation of the U-17 World Cup in 2024.
McLanahan, a native of Edmond, Oklahoma, signed with Duke this past week and will join the Blue Devils in 2026. The No. 6 overall recruit and top midfielder heading to college in the 2026 class, McLanahan is a two-time Oklahoma Girls' Soccer Gatorade Player of the Year and recently traveled to Portugal with the U.S. Youth National Team.
At Edmond North H.S., she tallied 107 goals, 42 assists and 256 points in only 45 matches. McLanahan helped lead the U.S. squad to the 2024 U-17 CONCACAF Gold Medal in Mexico, was a 2023 ECNL National Champion and ECNL All-American, while competing for Solar Soccer Club.
Players at the U-20 training camp will continue to vie for a spot on the roster for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Poland. The Stars and Stripes qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after finishing among the top four at the 2025 Concacaf U-20 Championship in Costa Rica in June. Long totaled three goals and an assist – including a brace against Puerto Rico – at the Concacaf Championship.
