DURHAM, N.C. — Duke women's soccer 2026 graduate
Farrah Walters has signed with Tampa Bay Sun FC of the USL Super League, as announced by the club this week.
Walters, a two-time letterwinner with the Blue Devils, started 16-of-40 matches over the last two seasons at Duke. She helped lead the Blue Devils to back-to-back appearances in the NCAA College Cup and the 2024 ACC regular season title. Walters, who hails from Scottsdale, Arizona, scored six goals and added five assists for 17 points, while logging 1,493 minutes over two years in Durham.
"We're excited to welcome Farrah to the club," said Tampa Bay Sun FC head coach Denise Schilte-Brown. "Farrah comes from an outstanding collegiate program where she developed into a very dynamic player. Her pace and technical quality immediately stood out to us, and she has the ability to change games with both her movement and skill on the ball. We believe Farrah has a tremendous upside and will be a great fit within our environment."
In her career, Walters started 46-of-78 contests at Santa Clara and Duke. She collected 22 goals, 11 assists and 55 points, while appearing in 3,696 minutes. Walters added five game-winning goals along the way.
"Farrah comes from a very competitive environment at Duke and that experience will translate well to the professional level," said Tampa Bay Sun FC president and general manager Christina Unkel. "We're excited to add a player with her quality and upside to the Sun."
Tampa Bay Sun FC is currently 2-7-9 overall on the season and will next host Brooklyn FC Wednesday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m., live on Peacock.
