DURHAM, N.C. - After a last-minute goal in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Duke men's soccer is set for a second-round matchup at No. 3-seed Princeton on Sunday, Nov. 23. The Blue Devils (9-3-6) and Tigers (15-1-2) will kickoff at 4 p.m., ET, with streaming available on ESPN+.Â
All second-round matches will be held on Sunday Nov. 23. The winner of Sunday's match will take on the winner of the matchup between No. 14-seed Akron and Notre Dame.Â
DUKE IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
- With John Kerr at the helm, the Blue Devils have played in 11 total, and five consecutive, NCAA Tournaments. The Blue Devils are 35-29-2 (.539) all-time in the NCAA Championship, headlined by the program's national title in 1986.
- When playing in the second round, the Blue Devils hold a record of 11-9.Â
- Duke has played in at least the second round of the NCAA Tournament in each of its last nine appearances.
- The Blue Devils last moved on to the third round during the 2022 iteration of the event, after earning a first-round bye and defeating Denver, 3-1, in the second round.
LAST TIME OUT
- Duke moved past FDU in the NCAA First Round, 1-0, courtesy of a goal from the penalty spot by Ulfur Bjornsson.
- The junior netted his fifth goal of the season in the 89th minute to give the Blue Devils the last-minute winner.
ALL-ACC TALENT
- Duke earned five All-ACC selections, the conference announced last Wednesday. Kenan Hot led the charge by being named First Team All-ACC.
- Kamran Acito and Ulfur Bjornsson were both Second Team All-ACC honorees, while Drew Kerr picked up a Third Team All-ACC selection.
- Freshman Max Simpson rounded out Duke's representation with a spot on the 2025 All-Freshman Team.
