Redshirt freshman
Riley Rowan opened the competition with a 9-0 decision over
Spencer von Savoye. Rowan, who is from Perry, Ohio, registered eight points in the second and third periods, while adding a point for riding time for the victory.Â

In another match for Rowan, he faced
Evan Coles. The match featured an exciting first period that saw all 27 points in the match. Rowan totaled a 21-6 win.Â

In the first match, freshman
John King faced Coles and collected a 21-6 decision. King also faced von Savoye in the second match and took an early 10-1 lead through the first two periods. King totaled two additional points in the third to seal the victory 12-5.Â

Raymond Adams went up against redshirt freshman
Noah Kochman in the first match of the 141-pound weight class. After a scoreless first period, Adams took a 3-1 lead in the second period and hung on for the 3-1 decision.

Dylan Ross and redshirt freshman
Eli Murray squared off at 149 pounds with Ross taking a 1-0 decision. In the second match, redshirt sophomore
SP O'Donnell pinned Ross in the first period for the victory.Â

Mikey Boulanger faced redshirt sophomore
Logan Fite and Boulanger quickly pinned Fite to take the victory in the first period.Â

Boulanger then faced redshirt sophomore
Peter Chacon. Chacon opened with a 3-1 lead after the first period and then held a 5-2 advantage heading into the final frame. Boulanger notched an escape, takedown and riding time point to collect a 7-6 decision.Â

Fite also faced redshirt freshman
Luke Williams in a tight match that saw Fite come away with a 4-3 win.Â

Graduate student
Aurelius Dunbar went up against redshirt sophomore
Logan Richey at 165. The two were scoreless after the first period and then Richey held a 1-0 lead heading into the final period. Dunbar was strong at the end collecting an 8-1 victory.Â

Dunbar then took on redshirt sophomore
Nick Tattini with Dunbar posting a 16-3 win.Â

Redshirt sophomore
Aidan Wallace had a match with Tattini and jumped out to a 13-2 lead after the first period. Wallace continued his momentum in the third to post a 19-4 decision in the end.Â

In the first match, graduate student
Natty Lapinsky faced junior
David Hussey and used the riding time point at the end to pull out a 2-1 decision.Â

Redshirt junior
Gaetano Console used a pair of takedowns in the first two periods of the second match to take an early lead. Console eventually totaled a 14-3 victory over Lapinsky.Â

Redshirt freshman
Owen McGrory opened the 197-pound weight class with a third period pin against junior
Kwasi Bonsu. McGrory led, 3-1, after the first period and then held a 5-4 advantage heading into the final frame. Both student-athletes had takedowns in the final period before McGrory netted the pin.Â

Heavyweight
In the final bout, redshirt junior
Connor Barket posted a 20-4 decision against graduate student
Tyler O'Boyle. Barket led 9-2 after the first period and jumped ahead 17-4 after the second.Â

Duke will open the 2025-26 season at home Saturday, Nov. 1 as the Blue Devils host Sacred Heart at 11 a.m., inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.Â
