DURHAM, N.C. – The Blue Devil rowing program travels to Cambridge, Massachusetts this weekend to race against crews from around the world in the 60th Head of the Charles Regatta. The annual regatta will run Oct. 17-19.
The Blue Devils will race three boats, Women's Alumnae 8+Â , Women's Championship 4+ and Women's Championship 8+, along the historic three-mile course.
Duke's Alumnae 8+ crew will open action on Saturday at 1:15 p.m., while the Championship 4+ and Championship 8+ boats will race on Sunday at 1:35 p.m. and 2:42 p.m., respectively.

Eliza Straayer highlighted the weekend with a first-place finish against a highly competitive field of 52 entries. The Club 4+ captured the Marcia Hooper Trophy and set a new course record in the women's division with a time of 17:46.122, over 15 seconds ahead of the second-place crew from Radcliffe.
